For my readers who are not Christian, I wish you blessings too, for whatever religious or spiritual practice you follow. The Spring Solstice is a time for the earth to come to life, and hopefully will bring new hope to us all.
Since we are still advised to stay home and practice social distancing, I will probably be alone today, unless my daughter and her husband come for a little while and we sit outside, six-feet apart. If it keeps raining, those plans are out. We’re waiting to see if the rain stops this afternoon.
In addition to missing all the family members who used to gather, I’m really missing the honey ham and the pineapple upside down cake. I could make one, but that is way too much cake for one person.
Does anybody have one piece they could send my way?
All Author, one of the sites where I have my books listed, sends out banners now and then for us to share. I thought this one was whimsical and fun for Easter.
SAHM, I Am, is a humorous story about a home computer and a housewife who do not get along. I initially wrote it ages ago when my husband was working for a company that was trying to develop a computer that could run an entire household. One day when we were talking about it, this story popped into my head. I think it was because he asked me if I’d ever want one. I said, “No.” LOL
